Abstract
The renewed interest about the notion os style emphazises it's fertility to characterize the national varatins os scientific practise given within the disciplinary matrixes. This paper explores the notion of style in relation to recent achievements in sociology and history os science, re-tlking the understanding of concpet as developed in the review of history os art and the ideas os notion, nationalism and internationalism in the moder political ans social thinking. The comparison of national styles os science seems to requiere the enhancing of the current form of understanding the internationalism of science. The international status os science is due to complicated endless interaction of various national styles. Universal science, in the adopted perspective would not be more than the set of national sciences. The search for international leadership may be interpreted in different ways from the most affective interaction os organized knowlwdgw in developing national strategies, or as a way that brings us closer and closer to the integratin of a truly universal science within an international society.
